Besides his devotion to his work, Elia has great appreciation for the arts and is co-founder and Co-Chair of the Fine Arts Club at the NYAC. The Fine Arts Club has rocketed to prominence as it sponsored tours to numerous museums, galleries and historic houses and other buildings of architectural merit in New York City and the greater Metropolitan area. Elia’s own skill as a photographer documenting those exciting trips has ably illustrated that rapid rise of the FAC to social prominence, a particular contrast to the general malaise one finds elsewhere in the recent recession.
